TEFL Phonolgy-Project on Modern Techniques and words’ division
When teaching sounds and words, we have to make our students understand that words have their phonological structure, a structure that consists of phonemes and groups of phonemes called syllables. Teaching syllable boundaries to the students can be very difficult. How would you teach your students the different ways by which words can be divided into syllables? Prepare a lesson plan for this purpose, implement it in an English language class and present the results it in your class.
“Modern techniques help in making the students learn words’ division into syllables and correct pronunciation of words.”
The apparent purpose of this paper is to prove the hypothesis: “Modern techniques help in making the students learn words’ division into syllables and correct pronunciation of words.” But the main purpose is to make the students learn correct pronunciations and words’ division into stressed and unstressed syllables. To achieve this aim of our research we selected a class, prepared a lesson plan, delivered the particular lesson plan for three consecutive days and then prepared our report on it. And it was proved that after taking many studies into account, it seems that spelling outcomes can consistently improve by applying strategies which include explicit instruction by using an engaging and multisensory approach, with multiple opportunities for practice.
